Membership of CORN West Africa is free, voluntary and open to interested subject matter researchers. The Network currently has the following category of membership:
Associate Member
Associate Members are individuals without any expertise in conflict research, but would like to identify with CORN West Africa.
Member
An individual who possesses a PhD, is an academic researcher in a university or a research focused organisation, and has published a minimum of three refereed publications, at least one of which must be on conflict in a West African state.
Affiliate Member
An individual currently studying for a PhD/Master’s degree who is conducting research on a topic related to conflict in a West African state.
Honorary Members (invitation only)
An individual who possesses a PhD, was a senior academic, but is retired. Members in this category must have made substantial contributions to the literature on violent conflicts and peace building in West Africa.
